With regard to the Tax Reform, there is consensus among analysts that the industrial sector will gain the most from the reduction in operating costs, the tax burden, greater legal certainty and improved productivity.
On the other hand, the services sector is also unanimous as being the most affected, as its taxes will increase. In an interview with Estadão, Angelo Ambrizzi, head of our Tax area, points out that commerce should remain more or even the same as it is today. Agribusiness, on the other hand, which traditionally benefits, will have lower tariffs or exemptions on various products in the basic food basket.
